Presentation of the services

The clinic offers several medical treatments aimed at enhancing scalp health and preventing further hair loss:

Hair Transplant with Punch

  1. Hairs taken in groups of 20 to 30 using circular trephines (3 to 5 mm).
  2. Grafts implanted in the bald area using the same instruments.
  3. Results in a "doll's hair" appearance with rounded scars in the donor area.
  4. Minigrafts and Micrografts
    • Introduction of minigrafts (4 to 5 hairs) and micrografts (1 to 2 hairs).
    • Harvesting technique changes to "strip" method.
      • A rectangular strip is taken from the back of the skull.
      • Sutured wound leaves a thin scar.
    • Grafts are cut into "slices," then into minigrafts and micrografts by technicians.
  5. Follicular Transplants
    • Collection typically done by strip technique.
    • Grafts are separated into follicular units by technicians.
    • Receiving holes created by doctors using 1 mm needles or blades.
    • Follicular grafts (FU) or ultramicrografts implanted by technicians with fine watchmaker's forceps.
  6. Graft Density and Technical Requirements
    • Smaller grafts require more grafts for comparable hair density to older techniques.
      • Example:
        • 4 mm punches: 50 grafts of 30 hairs = 1500 hairs.
        • First mini-graft sessions: 500 mini-grafts of 3 hairs = 1500 hairs.
